It's only going to run for one second. You have to be cranking the engine for it to turn on again or you'll have to bypass the fuel pump relay or the automatic shutdown (ASD) relay. That can be done with the ignition switch off. Connect terminals 30 and 87 with a stretched out paper clip or piece of wire.

Hmmm. Never heard of one running but not pumping gas. Any chance the tank is empty? Usually Chrysler pumps fail to start up when the brushes in the motor are worn, but banging on the bottom of the tank will get 'em going. Once they're running, they rarely quit until you stop the engine.

I banged it a lil bit but didnt work. So I took out the pump put some gas in bucket and positioned the pump as if it was in the tank connected (just to try it one more time ) it directly and I heard it running but nothing came out. As I picked it up from where it was I shook it to gas the last drops from the pouch, I heard something loose from the inside of the pump like a really small bearing or something. Is that normal for a pump?

Don't know but parts shouldn't be spewing from any pump. All I've ever done with Chrysler pumps is to replace them when they're dead. Never had one with a low pressure problem or that would run but not pump fuel.
