3.8 ltr ...was running excellent ...suddenly ran very rough (like out of gas) missing and stalling. Towed it home, sat over night. Started and idled perfect..for 5 mins! Then started missing bad again and stalled. I assume if it was a fuel filter , it wouldn't have started this morn and idle perfect for 5 min...Think Plug wires??? once they heat up? Coil dirty? Something in tank? This happened about a week ago when I ran outta gas...put gas in...wouldn't start. Release air from rail, nothing...fuel pump always kicked in...waited 3 hrs doing research, battery died. Before jumping, banged on fuel tank, released air again, and jump started... ran perfect! Now this. any Ideas? Thanks

Use a gage and check fuel pressure. Check voltage and ground at fuel pump connector.

To add, engine cranking, visually check for spark at the plugs. Anything? At the fuel pump connector, dark green wire with white tracer is voltage, black is ground.
