1998 Chrysler Sebring tachometer

For some reason the tach started running backwards. It "zeros" clockwise and "runs" counter-clockwise. Every once in a while it will work properly. Nothing has happened to the electrical system such as a short or dead battery or even battery removal. It just started running like that.

the instrument clusters in these have been haunted with problems.... do you have any messages in the center message center??? such as no BUS, etc??? these are non serviceable, and need to be replaced....
