I have a 1998 sebring coup(v6). I just had the alternator and terminal connectors replaced, but it's still not charging. My mechanic tested it and said it's charging intermittently. He concluded it must be the computer. Could it be anything else?

there are a couple of things to check. there is afusiblelink between the powerdist center and alternator. there is also a fuse in the pdc. the fuse may notbe making contact or the fusible link may be partially burnt up. i'd bet one of those is either making poor contact or are bad. there are a few other things like the field driver wire coming from the pcm isn't making good contact at thepcm.
