1998 Chrysler Cirrus oil light.

Sometimes when I am driving to places after a while my oil light starts to blink when I brake at a light. I am trying to see what could be causing it.

That light's telling you there is no oil pressure and shut the engine off. If you continue to ignore that light you will likely be buying an engine. You need to have the pressure manually tested to find out if it's really low or a faulty gauge.
