I have a 98 Chevy Venture that has no spark what are some steps that I can take? There's the smell of gas coming from the engine it turns over but it's not getting any spark. What can I do about it?
I've already.

Tested the spark.
Check all the fuses.
Changed the fuel filter.

Hello,

It sounds like you have an ignition control module that is not working. Here is its location (right side of engine) so you can change it out.

Check out the diagrams (Below)

Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Cheers

Are you saying, you visually checked for spark with engine cranking and there was no spark? Check for voltage and ground at the ignition module. Pink wire is voltage, goes hot with the key on. Black wire is ground. Also, check the 7x crank sensor.
