For about 2 years now my truck will randomly not start. It will turn over but not start. I mess with it. Keep trying it and eventually after getting pissed off and walking away for a while it will start. Now it has decided that it doesn't want to even turn over with the key. Only with the after market remote starter that was installed prior to me purchasing it. When you turn the key you can hear the fuel pump run but other than that nothing. I am at a loss here and no one seems to know anything about it.

You need a shop to remove the remote starter unit and start from scratch

Put everything back to original wiring and then see if it starts and why it wont if the issue continues.
What did you family people say about the problem?

My brother in law said to bring it over and he can look at it but hes never had one with this problem. He did mention that we will probably have to take the remote start off which is fine as I never take the keys out anyways so I still have to go out in the blizzards to warm it anyways. I was just hoping that I could get some tips/clues on where to start or what it may be. Could it be the ignition or the passlock on the truck?
