98 chevy truck 5.3 vortec gas is coming out of my exhaust in large amounts

This will not be raw fuel, probably a faulty injector and the smell off excess fuel in the exhaust condensation, you actually produce about a liter of H2o for every litre of fuel burnt, check for a failed injector first.
