when driving at times I get that sensation you get when your car hydroplanes..like a drift to the right with a loose feeling in the steering wheel..... have had front end checked and everything looks tight.... could this be a symptom of a bad steering box ? If not what else can I check

check tires as well unless they are new you can try moving front to back and see if it makes a difference. make sure you do this on level road as well due to curvature of a lot of roads. will make a vehicle do that.
