Backing up, heard a clunk. Now no 1st gear or overdrive. At the same time my gages stopped working...? Is this a fuse issue, a shift module issue, or bigger problem?

Sounds like something has failed internally in the transmission, I would not drive it any further as any fine metal fragments will be taken through the transmission and do further damage, get it towed to a transmission specialist for further detailed first hand diagnosis.
