1998 Chevrolet S-10 starting

When I turn the key to start truck you cn her starter engadge to start truck but all it does is twitch the motor and not turn it completely over flywheels in good shape

Put a socket on the crankshaft and see if you can turn the motor by hand.

If you can, then you have starter or battery issues.

If not, then your motor is locked up for some reason.

Thee motor is not locked up as I said it starts and runs fine when you push start it

Have the battery tested first to make sure it has full power capacity and then make sure all the connections are good, especially the side posts before condemning the starter.

Read the battery voltage while someone tries to start it to see if it drops significantly to indicate a good connection. The battery shouldn't drop below about 10v during cranking. If it doesn't drop at all, that would indicate a bad connection somewhere.
