Hello - as you can see by the information how the code is set. You would need a scanner tool to perform powerrain on board diagnostic system checks with the engine running. To me I would first change the sensor, clear the code and see if that works before taking it to a shop. Since you didn't specifiy your engine and 8th digit of your VIN, this is for the 2.2L DTCs
