I Have a '98 chevy prizm that when traveling uphill
in cruise and the speed drops 10 mph below set it kicks out of cruise. Twice yesterday it kicked into neutral. Had to pull off the road and wait a few minutes then put in drive and went on. Didn't use cruise on the hills but it worked fine on the flats. Does anyone have any idea what might cause this?

it may be getting to low of vacuum and stopping the vacuum motor from working kicking it out. Chec the trans fluid to make sure it is full then scan for codes as there may be something up with the trans either electrical or pressure wise.
