I have a 1998 Chevrolet Monte Carlo LS 3.1 V6. My car idles too high and runs very rough when starting cold. Also after about 15 minutes the car shuts off. then I have to wait 15 minutes to restart the engine. Then it drives for a short distance then cuts off again. I have replaced the alternator, starter, and Camshaft Position Sensor. My check engine light is on and reads Camshaft position sensor. What else could possibly be my problem.

fuel pressure, spark control module, coils. all these need to be checked by a shop to verify. it is time to stop guessing and throwing parts at it that dont fix it.
