Malibu shutting off

98 malibu turns off while I am driving. I am able to start it back up but shuts off again after a while. Also noticed that when I am driving sometimes when my rpm reaches 2 it seems to stall and want to shut off again.

Check fuel pump pressure. On our homepage under the DIY section are directions. Also, if the check engine light has come on, have the computer scanned for trouble codes. Most parts stores will do it for free.
