after getting my car out of the snow my sterring wheel was stuck and is REALLY hard to turn. please help!

was stuck in snow for half hour, once i got out my steering wheel became REALLY REALLY hard to turn. the steering was fine when i wasn't stuck.

Were you towed out? if so where did they hook up the tow line?

is it easier to turn with the engine running than off

check for fluid loss in the power steering system and that the drive belt is ok for the pump.
