Driving at 70 with cruise on, the cruise shuts off, then the radio shuts off, then car stalls. no emergency flashers etc...waited about 30 minutes. Car starts, runs for about 5 miles then same problem repeats. This time just had it towed. The car has a brand new battery. Any thoughts?

Check battery connections, check fusible links where applicable. Do a voltage drop test on battery connections, the circuit has to be under load for that test. At the fuse box, check for voltage at fuses, some are hot all the time, some go hot with the key on. Might be a problem with fuse box? May have to check on backside of fuse box, see if anything melted or burned?
