I took the AC unit out and replaced it with a bypass pulley, now I have steam coming out of the vents inside the car and a water leak from a hose coming out of the firewall right behind and bellow the alternator. The hose looks like a drain hose. The leak is not new but it has gotten more excessive after the ac removal. Thank you for your help.

Thank you. So does taking the AC unit out make it leak more?Because before I notice that the water was dripping out of there slowly but now it is coming out much faster?I appreciate your comments.

Only if someone leaned on the heater hoses in the process.
