1998 Chevrolet Express Getting Power Tried Put Jumper Cables Nothing

Not getting any power at all ....tried to put jumper cables to it and nothing ....no lights dashboard or brakes lights nothing what could be

Follow the two smaller battery wires to the body and to the under-hood fuse box where they're bolted on. Make sure those bolts are tight. Use a test light to check for voltage at the larger starter terminal. GM likes to use that as a tie point for other circuits to tap off from. Also test for voltage at the generator's output terminal.
