Hi I have a 1998 Chevy Cavalier and it has been overheating and I have been putting coolant in it non stop. There doesn't seem to be anything leaking on the ground though. I have checked my oil and it doesn't look milky or anything. Do you have any ideas what the problem could be?

Have cooling system pressure tested, and checked for a head gasket problem, have you noticed a runnability problem or white smoke coming from exhaust?

I had a similar issue. Head gaskets are an issue with higher mileage cavaliers. I would say if you are not seeing milky-ness in your oil the head gasket should be fine. When my car was over heating from lack of coolant, there was a crack hose leaving the radiator (so on the right hand side looking at the radiator straight on). I would say if possible check hoses, they could have gotten dried out and a hole could have cracked through under pressure.
