1998 Chevrolet Cavalier Loud Noise

The car I have has been making a noise like an exhaust leak or its low on oil. However, I know that neither of these are the case as both have either been fixed or changed. What is strange about it is that when I turn the wheel in either direction the noise stops.

check to see if your power steering fluid is low or it may be a pump which a pro will need to check
