I cannot start my car the normal way now, I had to have a bypass in which a switch was installed in order for me to start it I want to know why it had to happen this way, and what was actually changed to make it happen.

Not enough info? I don't know what was bypassed? Can you tell us why the switch? Maybe you need to talk to the person that did the work?

I have a switch in my car, I have to push it to start my car: why is this?

And how is it connected, and to which component is it connected to?

The title on your post said, "fusible link to solenoid", are you talking about the starter?

I did see a safety issue with your ignition switch. It's called, ignition circuit thermal event. Which means it could start a fire? There was a fix for that. If that fix has been applied to your vehicle and there are problems, I'd take the vehicle to your local dealership and have them fix it, properly.
