wiper motor wont work

bought 1998 blazer with no wiper motor so i go and buy a new motor and put on ,wiper motor won't turn checked connection getting power when switch is turned on multi switch cruise works fine blinkers fine ,but the wipers motor won't work and the wash pump won't work from multi but getting fire any ideas

If you are getting power to the motor, check for a bad ground. Run a jumper wire for a ground straight to the battery to see if that helps.

ok motor will spin to park i decided maybe connetor was bad so i clipped it off and plugged the wires direct to motor but motor still won't turn by switch could the switch be bad and not letting enough power to wiper motor and does anyone know how much volts each wire suppose to get to run wiper motor i'm at aloss thanks if you can help
