1998 Chevrolet Blazer Ticking noise

my engine is making a ticking noise when I push on the gas paddle and I can't figure out what it could be.I changed water pump it was running hot new radiator new spArk plugs new fan new filter.please help

Have you checked for exhaust leaks at the manifold? Does it sound like a lifter or could it be a knock from a bearing?
