The pump works when hard wired straight from battery. but when plugged up, it makes a faint click like it wants to start but doesn't have the power to. I am at a loss! Plz Help!

Check the fuel pump relay under the dash in the power distribution block. Let me know what you find.

if I may add, I would be looking at a bad ground for the control side of the relay. that is the most common failure with these types of issues.

That is the only relay. Check what ASE mentioned too. If that is good, you need to check if there is power to the relay itself. If there isn't, you need to work your way back all the way to the ignition switch looking for an open circuit.

The relay is still activating when I turn the key on. Is there a possibility that the power connection out of the relay could be bad? I will also check the grounds to an from. I will also check the voltage to an from. As well as the voltage at the fuel pump connector. That should give me an idea if its losing power somewhere. Correct? Thanks again for the help! Semper Fi!
