changed fuel pump on my Cadillac Deville still having trouble starting it starts sometimes but other times I need to keep holding the key until it kicks over please help

Have you checked to make sure the new fuel pump is working properly (fuel pressure test)? Also, have you checked to make sure the fuel pressure regulator is good? Finally, when was the last tune up and has the check engine light ever come on?
