About every 200 to 300 miles we have to add water and have checked and there are no leaks, the car runs perfectly, it does not miss. Where do you think the water is going. We have replaced the radiator cap, and when the problem started a mechanic put pressure on the system and it was holding.

put a dye in the system and it will show the leak in time. could be external or internal. look for the oil to change color.
