1998 cadillac catera stuck in park with dead battery

the car is stuck in the garage and in park. the battery is dead so i cannot put it in neutral to push it out and jump it.

you can get a portable battery pack to get some power to get it out of gear.

What you have to do is actually pop out the plastic/leather bottom from the shift key (just pull on it,should come rite out) and there will be a yellow plastic piece push it and it will free the shifter so you can move it without turning on any power.
