Where is the crankshaft position sensor on a 1998 Buick Skylark 3.1V6? The repair manual says its on the firewall side of the engine block but I really need to see a diagram of where exactly it is. Please post a diagram or give me a website for it please!

The 24x sensor should be down by the crankshaft pulley. The 7x sensor is on the back side of engine block, down low, get at it from underneath the vehicle. My wiring showed 24x, so I would look for wiring connector around crankshaft pulley. I'll see if I can find a picture?

If it helps you any the 7X sensor has a yellow wire and a purple wire going to it.That should narrow down your search.
