my 98 buick regal gs will not turn all of the way off its stuck in auxillary and kills my battery

Try libericating the tumbler to see if that helps. If it doesn't, make sure the shifter is fully in park. If it still won't go, either the linkage between the tumbler and the switch is damaged or the tumbler itself is bad.
