Car will not start

I was driving my car and noticed the air bag light was on as well as the eme. Breake light was flickering on and off, all of a sundden I try to speed up and the car would not let me as well as losing powe stearing I pulled over turned the car off and restarted it and everything was fine ( the lights were still on) next day I went to the dr.S came out and my car would not start. I tryed to hot shot it as well as took off the battery cables to check for corosein. Put them back on and still nothing all the light that normally come on did however they went off and the abs light and air bag light stayed on. Finally the car started I went to drive it and the gear shifter would not movei got that to work and started home and noticed no blinkers speed odme. Went crazy spinning outta control. I got it to my house then turned it off then tryed to turn it back on and it would not turn over no grinding or anything all the light came on again and still the abs light and air bag light stayed lit. Can u please help me im new to the area and dont know any good places to take my car without the fear of being ripped off
