Have noticed a clicking noise in/under dash right before this issue occurs.

gas gauge will go to full, speedometer fluctuates from 0 to 100, dash lights become dim and engine dies- does this for about a minute Then will restart

Have the charging system checked-alternator could be on its way out-if okay test ignition switch-double check battery connections
