You guys will have to forgive me, I know a bit, but by no means am i a car guy... My problem is, I went to start my car and when i turn the ignition to start the car(I believe you guys call it pos3) the 40a crank fuse under the hood blows. after reading a few things i was thinking it is a short somewhere, so in the process of trying to diagnose the short, i opened the car door and the key dinger was very faint, and also after sitting for 2 days the battery is just about dead. the crank fuse is not in and the key was not in the ignition. also when i went under the hood to look my ear was by the brake cylinder and i can hear a very faint clicking sound, and it is much faster than the ignition ding, so i don't think its that. the sound is only there when the battery is connected. and i am assuming that there is a parasitic draw somewhere since the battery died just sitting there. any suggestions you guys may have would be much appreciated.
