Check lights

Does anyone know how to reset the check back up lights, check rear lights, check headlamps, check license plate lights, check brake lights on a 1998 740i BMW, all these lights work perfectly.
also the left turn signal light sometimes flashes rapidly, I have check both the front and back light and they work any ideas on what could that be?

Put ignition on position 2 don't start the car
leave the drivers door open for 20- 25 seconds all warnings will go unless there is a broken lamp or a problem

For signal light check park light which is the smallest bulb in the headlight one of them is out
