Replace control arm

I need to replace my front left control arm on my 1998 BMW 328ic it has 145000 miles. I hit a pothole and bent the drivers side front control arm. I would like some info on what it takes to replace it. I ordered a used control arm and new bushings. Any info would be greatly appreciated

This is an involved process on this vehicle. I strongly recommend getting a good repair manual with step by step instructions and pictures to help identify parts. For me to explaine it via the Internet allows too much room for error and this is a safety issue.
