Where is the cooling fan switch for 1998 bmw 318i 1.9L. A diagram is very much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

works off the coolant temp sensor which is located on the drivers side of block in the front of the motor. it is by the thermostat housing.

what issue are you having??

Sorry for the late response.

Actually, we already replaced the temperature sensor and the relay. And the fan doesn't function automatically so it overheats the car. What might be the problem about it?

could be thermostat, blown fuse for the fans, bad fan motors.

does it go on when the ac is on??
