new rad thermostat and hoses fitted due to over heat problem

we have a bmw 316i compac that had an overheat problem, this seems to be sorted now but it uses water no visible signs and runs fine but heater does not blow hot air, any ideas???? thanks dale

Ay external leak? If none -Have it block and pressure tested
