Audi A4 misfiring

Engine has a hard start, engine can start but once you engage in drive it misfires and cuts off, its an automatic fuel injection Audi A4 ADR 1998 engine. How do I fix the problem?

1.Defective spark plugs
2.Inadequate spark/coil,defective spark plug wire.
3.Lack of compression
4.False air leakage.
5.Faulty fuel injectors.
6.Insufficient fuel pressure.
7.Contaminated fuel.
8.EGR valve that is leaking.
9.Oxygen sensors.
10.Throttle position sensor.
11.Manifold absolute pressure sensor
12.Mass Airflow Sensor
13.Idle air control valve

Hello and welcome to 2carpros. Have you done a scan on the engine control module yet? If you have a scanner then go over this link to retrieve the codes

Please post any codes you may have. If your scanner is more advance you may want to look at the misfire counter to actually see if you have a misfire. Your fault will either be in the ignition system or faulty engine control module.
