1997 Volkswagen Polo Following Insert Key Into Contact Shows

i have the following problem...when i insert the key into contact, it shows me "service oil" on board...what is that? haw to fix it? i have to say that i already checked the oil..it is full...what to do? options...and thank you...and, btw...it is not diesel, it runs on gasoline !

this means that you need to have the oil changed. the computer isset to remind you to change the engine oil after so many miles. once the oil is changed have the techniciam to reset the "oil service" light.
