1997 drivers door won't open

I have removed the rear door, removed the front door lock mech. tried manually turning lock, tried to pry the latch. getting frustrated!!! please help

Check if the linkage came off/broken to the latch, also possibly the problem could be the central locking system pump and control module in left side of luggage compartment-
