How to replace petrol pump?

I need to replace the petrol pump on my 97 Combo van. How do I remove the pump? Is there an opening through the van floor or do I need to drop the tank? If dropping tank, how do I go about that?

we have no info on these vehicles. most pumps are in the tank and the tank needs to be dropped. However sometimes athere may be a an access panel in trunk, under seat etc. the panel would normally be bolted in. You'll just have to look around or find a manual for that vehicle.
