1997 Toyota Tercel #2 and #4 multiple mifire

My 5eFe tercel keeps throwing a #2 and #4 misfire code. All ignition and plugs have been gone over and I swapped coils to verify them with same results. The car will run fine down the highway, but lopey at idle. if I let it sit for more than a day it usually takes a full battery and a jump to get it to fire again. Then it runs fine. I don't get a cam or crank code, or any others for that matter. Is this a quirky problem on this car? I've also gone over all the vac and emission lines to make sure they were okay. It's old and burns oil (a lot!) and I don't know if this could be compression related?

check compression and make sure the spark plugs are getting fire if you need to get a coil/coils get factory ones ans a lot of people have trouble with aftermarket ones. But it can also be a fuel problem as well. these are very hard to diagnose so a pro should really do it as it can be any sensor on the car causing it as well. but the oil may be fouling out he plugs as well and that should be fixed.
