Is there a way to replace a lug bolt/stud that is damaged on the front wheel of the 4x4 without removing the rotor? If you need to, how do you remove the rotor on the front wheel of a 4x4? Do I need to take apart the hub with the bearings, etc.?

It has been a long time since I did one of these on this type vehicle, but the rotor should come right off after the brake caliper is removed. I don't believe the rotor is where the stud is mounted.
