1997 Toyota Tacoma Just Had Head Rebuilt Had Bad Exhaust Valves Truck Starts

Just had head rebuilt,had bad exhaust valves., truck starts and runs ,but it ticks re3al bad and has a hard time staying at idle, checked oil pressure, fuel powder ect. Could they have not adjusted the valves right????

That is what it sounds like. I would take it back and have them readjust.

If the timing belt was off its mark the valve would tick real bad, and have a hard time staying at idle, The lifter lash adjustment can be off. and this can be the valve not adjusted properly
