Just had head rebuilt, had bad exhaust valves, truck starts and runs, but it ticks re3al bad and has a hard time staying at idle, checked oil pressure, fuel powder ect. Could they have not adjusted the valves right?

That is what it sounds like. I would take it back and have them readjust.

If the timing belt was off its mark the valve would tick real bad, and have a hard time staying at idle, The lifter lash adjustment can be off. And this can be the valve not adjusted properly
