How do I change the ball joints on a toyota truck?

With the wheels removed ,and the vehicle safely secured with axle stands. remove safety pin from the ball joint nut.then loosen the nut with the correct size wrench.then loosen and remove the bolts that holds the ball joint to the control arm. After this is done, you now need to release the joint from the spindle, for this you may need a special tool.see the figure attached.
