brake pads warning light turn on

Please,

I have Toyota Celsior 1997. It is brake pads warning light turned on. I replace the new brake pads but warning light is on. How to restart or clear this warning light.

make sure the fluid level is correct in the master cylinder. make sure the hand brake is fully released.
