At speed of 60 or above there is a sound

When the car is above 60 a ghod ghod sound is heard from the wheels but at lower speed there is no sound.I showed it to a garage and the said need to change the hobs bearing of front wheels is that correct?

Its very possible. Hub bearings and tires can make noises @ different speeds. To be shore you have to run the car on a lift and li sin to each wheel.
