1997 Toyota Camry transmission

When I put my car in gear whether its drive or reverse and hit the gas it doesn't go anywhere when I hit the gas. Everytime I put it in park it makes a sound. If I put it in gear it only rolls also when I put it in park it still rolls. My car will only sit still if I put the emergency brake on.

This is sounding like an internal failure of the transmission, I would recommend that you get this towed to a trans specialist and get the transmission inspected and get a quote first, this is not something that you can do at home as there are many special tools required an a very high level of specialist training required to work on auto transmissions.
