97 camry. Both low beams burned out at the same time.I put new lamps in. Low and high beams work now. What can cause this problem?

Hello,

Ok, were they original? If not how long have they been in?

There is not distintive reason for it, I heard one time that it is possible that when on bulb burns out it could send a voltage spike and blow the other, however, I have no idea. It has happened to me with 2 different personal vehicles. I have replaced and had no other instances.
